January 2nd 2005: Even though we continued his oil soaks, his coat drop didn't stop until mid December.  His fungal infection on his mouth came back and had to be treated with Ketakonazole.  This made his stomach upset so I had to take him off all vitamins and give him Pepcid AC for about a week.  He could not keep anything in his stomach for more than an hour.  As of today, he is back on his vitamins and oils, and is eating as usual.

You can see from the photos below, his coat drop was most drastic on his back, tail, and nape of the neck.  I have also taken a photo of the keratin build up on the root of his tail. 
 

March 2005:

Chad is still not growing any coat BUT he's not losing anymore.  He saw Dr. Preziosi (his dermatologist) feels that his Thyroid levels may be down again.  We did a panel and it came back low normal.  Talked about supplementing with Melatonin if his coat does not come back.

April 28th, 2005: 

 Y HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHADDY!!!  You're 8 years young Y

May 2005:

I got a new camera and took some photos of Chad at work.  As you can see, his coat is not back in but his skin is healthy and his is happy.  We also ran ANOTHER Thyroid test send to MSU and he is still 'low normal'.  We have increased his medication to .7 BID.  Hopefully we can get this under control.
